Why stop animal abuse??

Why should people try to stop animal abuse??? We'll tell you why!!

1. Beating animals is NOT right!
2. It's against the law.
3. How would you like it if your dog (or pet) started abusing you?? (I don't think you'd like it!)
4. What would it be like if people we being abused instead of animals...? Then there wouldn't be any healthy or strong people, and we don't want to see animals that way!
5. Last, animals are meant to keep us company, or to be our best friend. To have someone there when no one else is. They are just like people. The only difference is that they don't speak English! (:

Stop animal abuse!

Stopping animal abuse is hard but it is something that needs to be done. We want to treat animals like we want to be treated. Animals are just like people, they need to be loved and cared for. There are many organizations that help animals that are abused. We are researching this topic for our reading project because we think it is important for animals to be treated with respect.
